10th Annual Pre-Season Clinic

LAX ACADEMY'S

10th Pre-Season Clinic &

3v3 Lacrosse Tournament

Lax Academy will be running its 10th annual pre-season clinic/3v3 tournament Sunday March 19th at Sherman Field in Cranford. The format of the clinic has changed.  The boys & girls will go from 11am-3pm. The first half of the clinic will be our traditional preseason clinic format of instructional lacrosse stations.  The second half of the clinic will be a 3v3 tournament at every grade level.

We had a great turnout last year and I hope it continues. This clinic is designed to help our youth player's transition into their seasons with more confidence and a better understanding of the game.

This is a boys and girl’s clinic (grades 1st-8th).  Boys need to be in full equipment (helmet, gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, mouth piece, and cleats). Girls need (stick, eye guard, cleats, and mouth piece)

New Training Partnership for 2017

New Training Partnership for 2017

Dear Friends of the Cranford Lacrosse Club,

The Cranford Lacrosse Club is proud to announce that for the Spring 2017 season, Trilogy Lacrosse will be providing professional training for our upper age (5th-8th) boys and girls lacrosse teams.

Professional training provides a level of lacrosse knowledge and expertise that will effectively facilitate the best short- and long-term player development for Cranford’s youth lacrosse program and serve as a perfect complement to our dedicated parent head coaches.

For the Spring 2017 season, a Trilogy Lacrosse trainer will develop the players and team on the field through practices that will be held once per week for 8 sessions (CLC parent coaches will also participate in these Trilogy-run sessions). As in previous seasons, players can expect an additional parent-coach practice each week.

With this new enhancement to our programming, there will be a modest increase in registration fees for these teams for the Spring 2017 season. These costs will cover the additional professional level training as well as the annual costs associated with field maintenance and equipment, league registration, referee fees for league games and tournament play.

The Cranford Lacrosse Club is confident our partnership with Trilogy Lacrosse, a premium lacrosse education and event firm, represents a major step ahead in building a more sustainable lacrosse program in Cranford that will be evident in player development, acumen and success. You can learn more about Trilogy Lacrosse here: http://www.trilogylacrosse.com.

Registration will open soon on our website,www.cranfordlacrosse.org

Plus, we’re finalizing plans for a new fundraising program that will help offset costs for all Cranford lax families.

We’re looking forward to a great season!
